Responsible Sourcing Minerals
To implement Corporate Social Responsibility, the source and chain of Gold, Tin, Tantalum, Tungsten and Cobalt using in the products must be from qualified smelters/refiners. Mektec requires the mineral sources shall not mined under illegal, armed threat, or harsh working conditions. We promise,
Ensured the due diligence is performed in a way consistent with the OECD Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals or an equivalent and recognized due diligence framework.
The responsible mineral area is expanded from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the neighboring countries to Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas defined by the OECD.
To avoid the use of illegal metals in raw materials of products and production processes directly or indirectly benefit armed groups, we also strictly request suppliers to communicate this requirement to upstream suppliers, and jointly fulfill the responsibilities of corporate citizens.
